The Loughs in February 2011

 Well....we are doing well!!!  Praise the Lord for he keeps us alive and provides for our needs. jOL VAGYUNK!!! hALA LEGYEN AZ URNAK AKI ELETBEN TART MINKET ES GONDOSKODIK ROLUNK.

Some news: NEHANY HIR:

 Edina stepped out of the Linguistics course... It has been very difficult to keep up with the 8-10 hours of homework daily. I had to neglect the house, Benjamin and everything else. I also realized that i didnt enjoy it at all. I LOVE to learn languages but analysing them? mmm...not so much! :)

So I have total peace about the decision and I am enjoying spending a lot of time with 

Benjamin and Scott.   (This course was an EXTRA course, only optional. I have already graduated from the church planting training!)

Edina kilepett a nyelveszeti treningbol. Nagyon nehez volt a napi 8-10 oranyi hazi feladat mellett ellatni a hazat, a csaladot. Arra is ra kellett jonnom, hogy nem nekem valo volt. Nem szerettem ezt a fajta nyelveszeti elemzest, az agyam nincs ra beallitva. Nagyon szeretek nyelveket tanulni. De elemezni oket? mmm....azt mar nem annyira! :) Ugyhogy teljes bekessegunk van a dontes felol, es mostmar sok idot tolthetek Scottal es Benikevel. (Ez egy EXTRA, valaszthato kurzus volt. A gyulekezetplantalasi kikepzest befejeztem decemberben!)

 Scott continues to be full-time staff  here at the Missionary Training Center. He is doing a lot of computer work, all surveying related for the building projects. Scott tovabbra is teljes ideju munkatarskent dolgozik itt a Misszios Kikepzo Kozpontban. Sokat dolgozik a szamitogepen, mind foldmeresi es tervezesi dolgok az epitesi projektekhez. 

 Benjamin is potty trained!Now that I dont have classes I have the chance to spend a lot of time with him. That made it easy to finally potty train him... after a year of trying. Benjamin szobatiszta! Most hogy mar nem kell orakra jarnom, egesz nap vele vagyok. Ez megkonnyitette, hogy vegre megszabaduljunk a pelenkatol.... amivel mar egy eve probalkozunk. 

 We are moving up to Michigan in June. We are planning to spend a full year there doing Partnership Development (or deputation). We need to raise our support to be able to go to the field. (We are preparing for tribal church planting in Asia). 
Juniusban koltozunk vissza Michigan-be! Egy teljes evet tervezunk ott tolteni ahol a tamogatasunkat kell osszegyujtenunk. Azsiaba keszulunk teljes ideju szolgalatba, torzsi gyulekezetplantalasra.

Snowed in [Behavazva]

It snowed here for over 24 hours. It was pretty cool, actually.... especially that I didnt have to be out there shoveling snow. Everybody else was out there shoveling, including Scott whose toes and nose froze. 

Tobb mint 24 orat havazott, megallas nelkul. Gyonyoru volt..... bar nem is kellett kint lennem es havat lapatolnom. De mindenki masnak igen.... Scott is kint tolta a havat egesz nap.

Christmas in Michigan---- Karácsony Michigan-ben

Since school got out pretty late this semester (23rd of Dec) we did not have much time for lolligaging. We took off early next morning (4am) for Michigan. The trip was pretty smooth. Benjamin though got carsick and threw up once poor little one. While in Michigan we visited with a lot of people, family and friends. We stayed at a couple's house from our home church (JBC). They spend the winters in Florida and they generously offered us again to stay in their house. That was a HUGE blessing to us!

Mivel a félév elég későn ért véget az idén (Dec.23) nem sok időnk maradt szöszmötölni. Másnap korán reggel 4-kor nekiindultunk a 12 órás útnak Michigan-be. Az út elég simán ment, kivéve hogy kicsi Benike rosszul lett és hányt egyszer. Az autóben néha rosszul van. Az anyukájára ütött ilyen szempontból.... 

Michigan-ben sok mindenkivel töltöttünk időt, családdal, barátokkal. Egy gyülekezetünkbeli idősebb házaspár házában laktunk a két hét alatt. Ők minden telet Floridában töltenek, és az idén ismét felajánlották az üres házukat nekünk. Nagyon nagy segitség és áldás volt ez számunkra!

Egy estét a gyülinkbeli "Mag"* csapatunkkal tölthettünk
*MAG= (Angolul: CORE GROUP) egy kis csoport (12 fő) a gyülekezeten belül, akikkel szorosabb kapcsolatban állunk, gyakrabban beszélünk. Ők a képviselőink a gyüliben. Ha valamire szükségünk van, imaháttérre vagy bármi másra, velünk beszélünk először.

Hot days in Missouri..........
Scott is busy with lots and lots of surveying and helping at the constructions. The temperature is consistently above 105, and I heard in the radio that the heat index is actually 111 degrees Fahrenheit!!! 
Kánikula Missouri-ban.......
Scott teljesen be van fogva a földméréssel ezekben a napokban és az építkezésekbe is besegít. 
A hőmérséklet rendszeresen 40.5 C fok fölött van és a rádióban hallottam, hogy a hőség index igazából 43.8 C fok!!!!!! 

 Meanwhile I am working on the fall collection for my little shop on the internet. I am sewing baby and toddler home slippers among other things. 
 School is starting up too in a week. Some of our new classes in the 3rd semester will be: Practical Living, Simple Living, Dobu (tribal language simulation), more Health and Wellness etc. 
Én ezalatt az őszi kollekciómon dolgozom a kis internetes boltomba. Most éppen babamamuszokat varrok. 
 Az iskola is kezdődik egy hét múlva. Ilyen óráim lesznek: Praktikus Életmód, Egyszerű Életmód, Dobu (törzsi nyelvtanulási szimuláció), Egészség és Jólét stb. 
 But I am spending a lot of time with Benjamin too. He is at the age when he is interested in everything literally. He is talking a lot although we dont yet understand much of it. 

He is learning his numbers now both in English and in Hungarian. He can count 1-5 although not in the right order.

 Benikével is sokat kell foglalkozni. Abba a korba ért amikor minden érdekli, mindenről hangos locsogással beszél, bár még nem sokat értünk belőle. 

Most tanulja a számokat magyarul és angolul egyaránt. 1-5-ig már el tud a kis ujjacskáin számolni, igaz, még nem sorrendben mondja a számokat.
